Anne Murphy
Center Director, Anne Murphy, M.Ed.,Cert1 Reg.MT, is a Registered and Certified Music Together®®Teacher. She was a vocalist with the Federated Ensemble & recorded on its two music CD's. She has performed in such venues as The Cleveland Music Hall, Dobama Theatre, Karamu Theatre, Severance Hall, & in radio and TV commercials. Anne has a background in business and in the field of education as an Elementary Teacher and Resource Teacher. She has been instrumental in the inception of model school programs & parent education initiatives. Anne is very excited about involving parents & children in this most nurturing, life-giving music program. |

Colleen Szekelyi
Colleen, a Registered Music Together Teacher, finds that teaching Music Together has provided her the joyful opportunity to express her musical and theatrical background. She has performed at the State Theatre, Severance Hall, and the Cleveland Playhouse; and, having co-written the lyrics for "It's A Major League Good Time" led to working on the film: "Major League". Singing professionally since the 80's, Colleen has recorded numerous radio & television commercials; she has been the voice-over/jingle singer for Skippy Peanut Butter, Sea World, Care Bears, WEWS Channel 5 to name a few. Colleen is a writer with a creative story-telling wit that is unsurpassed. She even has a parrot that sings and performs - but that's another story. |
